“The greenhouse effect is the process by which radiation from a planet's atmosphere warms the planet's surface to a temperature above what it would be without this atmosphere. Radiatively active gases in a planet's atmosphere radiate energy in all directions.” This is the technical definition, however to this photographer it is the cutest backdrop for photo sessions.
This little greenhouse is a work in progress as I continue to add flowers, rocks, props, and more to it! GET THIS: the wood we used was all found in our barn on our farm, and the windows are from the best, Balltown Bits by Angie Sigwarth.
Ok, so what in the world am I using this greenhouse for? Well, for starters a greenhouse. Grow plants and more. BUT also all the sessions — think seniors, families, branding sessions, and more! Adding another structure to the property opens up more doors for places to take photos! Plus next door to the greenhouse is a large wildflower field!
These photos below of the greenhouse were taken a few months ago when we had started the process of putting it all together. I am not sure I have been so excited for a project in my entire photography career.
As the greenhouse grows, I invite you to follow along on instagram. I have an entire highlight with all the progress of the greenhouse!
