Let me introduce you to my bestie, my sidekick, my second shooter, Maddie. She recently started her own photography business shooting her own weddings but saving me by second shooting at several weddings of mine. Blessed….doesn’t even do justice for how I feel about this chick!

I’m married to my high school sweetheart, Logan! He’s the perfect calm and collected to my high strung & always on the go!
I am a momma to 3! Charlee is 3.5 and the sassiest but sweetest little princess you would meet! Cecelia is almost 2 and is a true middle child- oofta she will be a handful!! Wyatt is my sweet 4 month old little boy that is such a fun addition to our family!

I could live in October-December year round!! I love the weather, the holidays, the views and the music! You can find me curled up watching Hallmark and listening to Christmas music reallllll soon!
In my free time you can find me at the winery, on the golf course, running or hiking with my family!
I MEAN COME ON — GORG!
A few years ago Maddie came to me and wanted to learn more about the photography business. She wanted to learn all about the camera, how to work with the clients, handle the kiddos, and behind the scenes activities. Me, being me, said DUH. I am all about helping others grow and accomplish their dreams. Some might have thought, “Allison, you are crazy. What if she steals your clients?” My answer to that was and will always be, “there is room for all. Her way of doing this business is HER way not mine. Sure I can teach her but ultimately she is going to but her own twist on it and the clients she works with will work with her because of HER and mine because of ME!”
Since then, she has been by my side learning and helping me second shoot several weddings! Working with Maddie has been a dream. She just gets me. She has fun, but helps keep me on track and focused.
Alright so I clearly know what she does as a photographer, but what in the world is a virtual assistant or what she calls a VA? I asked Maddie to explain just what she does as a VA and here is what she said.
A virtual assistant is someone who provides administrative, creative or technical support services for small business owners trying to do all the things on their own!
A few examples would be
scheduling, sending or sorting through emails
social media graphics or scheduling
calendar management & appointment scheduling
bookkeeping
The best part is working with a virtual assistant can be flexible because it’s contracted work- need someone for only two hours a week? You got it! Need more time than that? I’m here for you!
