English Insurance Agency is an Independent Insurance Agency that has been providing quality insurance to Eastern Iowa communities for more than 60 years.
I recently took professional photos of English Insurance in Dyersville and let me tell you wow is their office in a cool location in Dyersville — right on main street, by the river, with site of the Basilica.
I have know this group of insurance agents for quite a while now, simply from the Young Professionals group, chamber, and other local groups and events. They are always willing to volunteer and give back to their community.
The English Insurance Agency of Dyersville, IA and the O’Connor & English Insurance Agency of Dubuque, IA have been serving Dubuque, Dyersville and surrounding communities for over 65 years. Our dedication to the community is deeper than insuring families and businesses. As members of the Dubuque Chamber of Commerce, and Dyersville Area Chamber of Commerce and supporters of many other local organizations, we strive to make our part of Iowa a better place.
ACTIVE MEMBERS OF THE COMMUNITY
We make giving back a part of our everyday life—from “paying” to wear jeans every Friday and donating the proceeds to the Iowa Children’s Hospital to ringing the bell for the Salvation Army outside local stores around the holidays.
We also donate to and support the United Way in Dubuque, Shop with a Cop, Shoes that Fit, the Colts Drum and Bugle Corp, DuRide, Dubuque County Fair, Alzheimer's Foundation, Dyersville Health Foundation, Dyersville Downtown Market, and various fundraisers for local fire departments and schools.

Tim English is on the Board of Directors at Mercy Hospital and Ellen Kennedy Living Center, and on the board for Dyersville Economic Development. He’s also a member of the Knights of Columbus, Lions Club, and AOH.
Derrick Parsons and Amy Glaza are members of the Dyersville Young Professionals group. Derrick also sits on committees for the MercyOne Health Foundation Board, St. Francis Xavier Parish Council and the Big I Young Agents Committee. Gabe Drewelow is President of the Business 2 Business Group through the Dubuque Chamber of Commerce, as well as a board/committee member for Dubuque Golf Chamber, Loras Golf Committee, and St. Columbkille's Church. Several of our staff volunteer with different school groups and/or boards.
